I'm Justin, founder of Built True Builders and a United States Marine Corps combat veteran who proudly served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Why Built True exists
Construction has always been a passion of mine, but Built True Builders was inspired by an experience I wish I never had. When my family built our home, I expected excitement and anticipation. Instead, I experienced poor communication, unexpected costs, unanswered questions, and a process that became unnecessarily frustrating.
I remember thinking, "There has to be a better way."
That simple thought became the foundation of this company.

At Built True Builders, we believe communication is the most important tool on any jobsite. Before we discuss materials, schedules, or budgets, we take the time to understand your goals, your vision, your priorities, and your concerns. When everyone shares the same expectations from the beginning, projects run smoother, budgets stay on track, and clients feel confident throughout the process.
One of my biggest frustrations as a homeowner was seeing estimates that looked great on paper but quickly grew through change orders. While unexpected conditions can arise during remodeling, they should never be part of a pricing strategy. That's why we work hard to provide honest, transparent proposals that reflect the true scope of your project from the start. Our goal isn't to be the cheapest contractor. It's to be the contractor you never have to question.

The Marine Corps taught me lessons that extend far beyond military service. It taught me that your word matters, accountability matters, and integrity isn't something you claim. It's something you prove through your actions every day.
Construction is a business where challenges are inevitable. Materials can be delayed. Hidden structural issues can be uncovered. Plans sometimes need to change. What defines a contractor isn't whether problems occur. It's how they respond when they do.
If something doesn't meet our standards, we'll own it. We'll fix it. We'll make it right.
